My name is Folusho Orokunle and I’ve gotta tell you something before you continue reading. I started this blog/website because everyone I know that was or is an expert had a blog with their name in it. I’m not usually the one to follow the crowd but after reading so much good and bad information out there I kinda figured that it would be a better idea to put more valuable information on this wild place we call the internet.

My story starts out like most stories do with a young guy that has no idea what he’s going to do with his life! My dad immigrated from Nigeria in the 70′s on a scholarship to the University Of Illinois, so he was a smart guy. He was also a drill Sargent type dad so I didn’t really like him that much growing up. He always told me that I would grow up to be an engineer to, but I was having none of that!

As a young boy, I think I was in 1st grade. I had the amazing gift of writing interesting stories while being good at art as well. So I figured that one day I’d be a hot shot artist or something. But my dad told me that artist don’t make any money, so I should go into “computers” because “they’re the technology of the future”.

I liked computers but I wasn’t a computer geek at all, I was more into art and sports growing up.

But since I still lived under my father’s roof after high school, I took his advice and went to DeVry University. Can you guess what happened next? I hated it. I liked computers, but the guys and gals in class with me, they loved computers and programming. If they could go out on a date with a computer program, they would. If they could marry Visual Basics they would do it in a heart beat!

I on the other hand was just trying to get by, and I had found my new passion, sales. I had become a REALLY good sales person for Time Life. You know the company that sent out those old music Cds and charged people’s credit cards over and over for them, yeah that company.

I had skipped several semesters at school because I just didn’t see myself doing the “programming thing” for the rest of my life. This is when I stumbled into MLM. I’m only going to say one more thing about MLM, it stinks if you don’t have the proper skills and mindset, so basically it stunk for me!

This led me to the internet because I wanted to find out how to promote my MLM biz, which led me to information and online marketing. Which led me to learning how to promote products as an affiliate online.

By this time, my dad had become a fulltime pastor after the economy had taken a hit, so he wasn’t doing as well financially as he did in the past, but he was a much more pleasant person. I started to really respect my dad. I had now grown up and discovered that all of the discipline he taught me was paying off big time.

So when I finally started figuring out the internet thing, I was getting fired from my new sales job at the same time. The main reason that I got fired was because I really had no interest in my day job anymore. I saw that there was so much potential on the internet that I had to basically stay up all night every night to tap into it.

I no longer went out with friends, my girl friend was tired of me spending hours in front of the computer, and I had no real social life. But I really had no choice because I was on unemployment and living in a one bedroom apartment in the “hood”.

I could remember that first day that I made $1,000 in one day like it was yesterday, all I could do was say thank you God! I was really excited. In most stories at this point they start telling you how they kept making thousands of dollars everyday after that, but that’s not the case for me. I had days where I didn’t make a dime after that until I got very good at using Gooogle Adwords to drive traffic. I basically spent sleepless nights learning how to master good ole Google until my income became very steady. Around this time I had launched a funky looking review site called Federalreviews.com which I used to funnel traffic and make my first six figures with.

I started to get many requests for coaching because I loved helping other people get started and poured my heart and soul into them.

I then realized that coaching was the perfect business model for me because I could help others succeed while getting paid nicely for it.

So today, unlike ten years ago, my dad is very proud of me. My girlfriend is now my wife, and she loves my passion. I’ve been able to give my brothers and friends jobs. And I help many internet marketers coach their clients to success by giving them that personal touch that they desire.

Thank you for giving me this opportunity to share my story because, frankly, I have never really written it down like this. Success lies within all of us, we just have to have the guts to keep going and have faith.

Let me let you in on a secret though. There’s one thing you can do everyday that will guarantee that you’ll achieve some level of success. But before I tell you this so called secret, let me tell you what you can do NOT to be successful. You can continue to do a million things at once going in twenty different directions. This is what I used to try and do a few years back. I had about three to four different ideas that I thought would make me the next Bill Gates but I never followed any of them all the way through.

So here it is: The secret is that you have to find ONE way or technique that is successful and make it different or better by following all the way through with it to the end. So on this blog I’ll be talking, typing, and singing about all the things that I have or will be following all the way through with. One of the biggest things that stop people, probably in you, from being even more successful than you already are, is your fears. So if you can see what I do and goals that I achieve that I never get run over by a train because of it, maybe that will give you enough courage to take the leap yourself. Once you take the leap you’ll find out that you won’t smash to pieces but you’ll actually hit the ground running.

Here’s to your success and God Bless.
