I also tried to check the ranking in the search engines, particularly Google, of one of my other blogs, it’s 90405 plumbers. That is number 3 on Google under the Google Places listings. And when I checked it out to make sure that it is my site, there really is nothing on that site yet except for the regular WordPress theme.

I haven’t even designed it yet. I haven’t done anything to it. So this just proves to you that it works.

I’m going to look at a couple more of the sites which I created because I haven’t really checked on those yet. I will try now, Santa Monica Plumbing Repairs. That should be a good one.

So when I type in Santa Monica plumbing repairs in Google search bar, there it is. Santa Monica plumbing repairs is on the first page of Google. Remember, we haven’t done anything to the page yet.

You see what I’m getting at here? I signed up, I created and bought several domain names about two weeks ago, half of them are already on the first two pages of Google.

For Santa Monica plumbing leaks, we’re number one on Google and we do not have anything on it yet. And what I’m going to do is just contact some plumbers in the Santa Monica area and say that we’re on the first page of Google for eight sites about plumbing in Santa Monica, they can buy the advertising space from me for $1000 a month. Or maybe $2000. It depends on what they’re willing to pay. Then, I will just give it to the highest bidder.

So, you see that Santa Monica plumbing, it is number one in Google without really doing anything to the site besides buying the domain name and installing a WordPress blog.

For the domain name which is Santa Monica plumbing contract, this is obviously going to be a bit harder because this is like an obvious keyword. Anything that’s a little more obvious, we’ll be a bit harder because there’s going to be a lot more sites optimizing for that. But you can still get ranked on the first page. I haven’t on the site and before I actually put something on the pages, I just want to know where we’re at first.

Now, once I have checked the recent websites that I have created through my Hostgator reseller account, let us see if it shows on the search engines yet. Let us take a look at this one as an example, green plumber santa monica. Let’s see if that one is already in the search engines.

So, I just got this site set up. You will see in the site that there are still some of the fake texts that I need to change. This blog was created on January 28 that was about 2 weeks ago. And we were just getting the design done. The next step is, I want to share with you how it differs from my CPA firms listing. So, I am gonna Google the domain name for it, it’s greenplumberssantamonica.com, then see what happens.

So in Google search bar, I just have to type in greenplumberssantamonica.com. So, when I scroll down, I don’t see anything on the first page so I have to see the listing on the second page. So I saw there the blog for green plumbers santa monica. That’s a page from my blog. From there we can go back to the home page. Okay, so that’s without even doing anything. We haven’t done any optimization or built any links to the site. So this is why it is so important to choose the right keywords when you’re a local business blog.

Now, since we’re doing a review blog, it doesn’t really matter what your domain name is. What really matters is that the post that you write, the review or article about a product, has the title which uses the keyword that you wanna rank for in Google. So, that is one, that’s the first site.

Now let us check out the next one. I haven’t checked this one yet. It’s santa monica residence plumber. I doubt that it is gonna show up because it is probably harder to rank for santa monica residential plumber.

I don’t think it’s gonna show up and the reason why I think it’s not gonna show up is because it does not sound like a keyword people would normally look at but there is just less competition for it.

So, after looking at the listings, nope, that one’s not listed yet. Not yet. At least not on the first five pages. That’s okay though. I just wanna know which sites got listed quickly. And I am just sharing with you that sometimes, some sites get listed faster than the others.

In this article, what I’ll be covering is the easiest ways to build links fast on your websites. I’m going to be building links to a local business site and I’ll share with you how easy it is to do this and how inexpensive it is if you don’t want to do it yourself.

So basically this is how it works: for example, on one of my last blogs, I was sharing about my top CPA firm in Los Angeles site. So, I will Google it just to see if it is even in the search engines yet, because it was not in the past. So in Google search engine I will just type in “top cpa firms in los angeles”. And, it wasn’t even listed the last time I checked. But I’m going to see where we’re at right now so that I will know what actually helped us get the results that we’re going to get by building links to this site.

I’m just going to look at a few pages and if I don’t see it well, I just have to stop. And of course, I don’t see it yet even until page 7. So, I’ll search the other keyword which is cpa firms in los angeles. I don’t think it’s going to be on the search engines for that either because if it is not there for top cpa firms in los angeles, it is definitely not going to be there for cpa firms in los angeles. But you know, you just gotta check. Just to make sure.

Now, normally, this will not happen. What I am trying to say is that normally, you will at least get listed because the keywords you chose for your domain name, if you’re doing local business blogs, the keywords will actually have a lot of searches but they won’t be as competitive so you’re not going to have the problem where you’re not listed anywhere.

Just to prove it to you, I’ll share with you a few of the sites I set up. I’m going to log in to my Hostgator reseller account. This is where I host most of my websites. I like Hostgator’s reseller account but I do also use others.

So in Hostgator, I’ll click on set-up date to see how recent some of the websites have been set up. Some of them don’t even have anything on it yet.

For my Google Adsense campaign, manual bidding, that’s what I’ll go for so you also don’t have to change that. For device, choose all available devices, leave that option, check it. All that I am unchecking is the display network. I don’t want my ads to show on the display network.

For actual daily spend, it may vary. So for my budget per day, I am just going to put $100 for now. You don’t have to do that. I’m just putting that for now.

You can use the optional feature to include relevant business information with your ads. You can check, Use address from a Google Places account or Use manually entered address. For me, I’m not going to put any of that in there.

I am just going to leave all of that blank. I can put my phone number on it. I just bought an evoice 800, a toll free number which is 888-7818962. There is a note that shows saying, only the phone number is clickable when ad is shown on mobile devices. That’s interesting.

So, I’ll just leave that like that. There’s my number. Then save and continue. I think I should put the hyphens in there too. So it becomes 1-888-7818962.

Then click on save and continue.

Then on the next page, ad group is gonna be called, same thing, CPA firms in Los Angeles. For the ad, the headline will be: CPA Firms In Los Angeles. At first I thought the word in Will not fit but it did. Then in the next lines I will put. Top Rated CPA Firms With the Best Service In Los Angeles. Then the Display URL is going to be TopCPAFirmsLosAngeles.com. And that is it.

Below the page, there are the keywords that Google is suggesting. The reason why it is suggesting those is because it doesn’t know what CPA means and that
it means accounting. It is thinking Cost Per Action, meaning like, you know, traffic. But that’s not what I am looking for.

So, the only keyword I am gonna have in this is “cpa firms in los angeles”. In quotes so that only when people type it in that order will my ad show up. Then, maybe even “accounting firms in los angeles” coz that’s the same thing. Then I will also add “accountants in los angeles”. I want it to be very specific. That means they’re actually looking for an accountant. Then I will just put one or two more. I’ll put “accountant los angeles” so tha if they don’t type in the word in, it would still show up. Then I’ll include “cpa los angeles” and “accountant los angeles”.

So we’ll check back with this in a few days to see if I get any traffic.

The fastest way to make your blog earn money, if you don’t have any money to do it, is just to optimize it with free traffic until you get it on the first page of Google. Then, you can contact a business. But I like moving fast so that’s why I am gonna do this.

So I have to go to the campaigns and log in to my Google Adwords account. If you don’t have one, set up one now. In my account, I have the campaign that I have set up for my air duct cleaning site. And I have spent over $200 for that. It is not really even worth it to be honest with you. But I am gonna do this because I wanna generate a few leads which I could use to talk to business owners because then I would be able to say that I own a site which is called topcpafirmslosangeles.com and I have a few people that opted in my site because they want a CP firm to call them Then I’d ask, do you guys have a referral program or do you guys mind calling these people?

If I call a business owner saying that, trust me, they’re gonna wanna do business with you. That’s why I wanna do it that way. Otherwise I will just focus on getting ranked on Google first but that takes time.

So, I should click on create a new campaign and new ad group, and then I’m gonna go to new campaign. Then I am gonna call it CPA firms in Los Angeles, exactly what this site is. So, each site is gonna have a different campaign.

For the location, I am gonna choose, Los Angeles metro area, so basically the whole area of the Los Angeles metro area. So basically, all the ads are gonna show up in this area. Then, I can close that.

Then I am going to pick networks. I have to choose. The only networks I wanna be in is Google search and search partners. You don’t want it to show up as Adsense in people’s site which is what this Display Networks and Relevant pages across the entire network are. No, I don’t want that.

You just want it to be searched because that’s when people are actively searching for business that I want my site to show up.

It is imperative to add a privacy page. So to that, I have to log in back to my blog, wp—admin at the end of the URL. After the dot com, you put a forward slash, then wp—admin. Then, type I your username and password, then you can log in.

The next step is to add a page. So, I click on pages and right now it says About. So I am gonna add a new page and we will call it Privacy Policy. Then, I am just gonna paste what I got from the other site. You don’t just wanna deal something from other sites but you could use mine that is in topcpafirmslosangeles.com if you want and if you don’t have one.

So that is that. Make sure that it’s right. Look closely if it doesn’t have any domain names in it because it would look bad if there are any domain names for the other sites in here. So you just have to make sure that it looks like just fine.

For the page attributes, that’s fine, I am just gonna publish it and then make sure it shows up on the blog. When I viewed the page of my blog, there’s no link to it, so, I just have to make sure that there’s a link to it that shows up. I want the privacy policy to show in the tab up in the blog page. You just have to figure out how to do it because it could depend on the theme that you use. It just has to show up right and then go to site options.

So once I have done the changes, my privacy policy is showing up in the page now. That’s important because when you’re paying for advertising, Google looks at that to make sure that your site is real.

And also for the widget panel, I could either edit it or delete it. Then I am just gonna go ahead and set up a Google Adwords account.

So, I just have to go to adwords.google.com. Sign in with my account. The whole point of doing this actually, I could tell you right now that it’s gonna cost too much to advertise for this site. But what I wanna do is I wanna see if I could get a few leads first with this page because if I can’t, then I could use those leads to get to a CPA firm in Los Angeles to get them interested in my service.

Now I wanna pick the category. So, I am gonna uncheck uncategorized. Then I will click on add new category. And I will call the new category as CPA Firms in Los Angeles. So, that’s the theme of this site, CPA Firms in Los Angeles.

Then clock on add new category and this blog post is gonna be in that category. So, I have to click update and then go back to viewing the page. So, now it looks like there’s something going on with it. So, that’s it for now.

The next step is to advertise this site. There’s different ways you can do that but the first way I wanna do that is I can use free traffic which we will do here. That is similar to what I did for the plastic surgery sites. This time I am gonna teach you how to do page traffic.

So, what I have to do is log in to my Google Adsense account. If you don’t have a Google Adwords account, this will be a great time to sign up for one.

Before I do that, there’s a few more pages I need to add to my blog. If I’m gonna do paid advertising, I need to do a private or the privacy for the page so that people would know that the information you have on that are safe. I need to find one quick which I can use as a template.

I have privacy statement in one of my other blogs. I just have to use all the details in that privacy statement. I am going to put it on the privacy page of the new site, of the new business blog. If you don’t have a privacy page when you’re paying for advertising, the advertising companies like Google and Bing, they won’t take you seriously.

The other thing I wanna do with my WordPress blog is that I wanna delete the comment that automatically comes with WordPress. It says: Hi, this is a comment. To delete a comment you just log in and view the post comment.

So, this is on my blog. I wanna delete this coz I don’t want this to be on there. So, I am just gonna click on trash, so it is already gone.

Next, I just wanna look at it one more time to see how it looks. I need to change the default widget. You can edit the comment that appears there by visiting your widget panel. So, depending on what theme you’re using, you may have something like it on your blog but you probably won’t because I’m using a theme recommended to me.

So I just have to go to my widget panel. I’ll go to sidebar 1. Usually you can edit it by just clicking on it. You can look down the page.

I can edit it on the side under thesis too. It depends on what theme you pick. Then you can edit your options. You can actually not worry much about it right now because that is even not that important. Because even if I don’t change that, that probably won’t change anything. So, what I wanna do is that I wanna just add an article. A short article is what I want to put in my blog.

So, I just have to click on edit for my blog. The title says, Top CPA Firms in Los Angeles. You will see that it says, hello world, that is for the permalink and I wanna change that so that it will become the title. So, I just have to click on edit. I will put the title of my blog post by just pasting the title of my blog post. And I am just gonna type in a quick article. Here is what I will write:

There are many CPA firms in Los Angeles to choose from the most important thing from your perspective is to make sure that you pick the right one for your needs. Whether you’re a business owner, a major corporation or an employee picking the right accounting firm in the LA area will help you have peace of mind and save you money at the same time.

That will be the first paragraph of my post.

Then I will check what else I need to change here. I have to ensure the permalinks and see if I was able to set that up. Didn’t the first time. So, to do this, you wanna go to custom structure and put in a forward slash, percent sign, the word postname, percent sign and forward slash.

Write that down if you don’t have that, if you wanna set up business blogs for businesses. The only reason we are covering this is because you can be making money with these blogs in 30 days or less. I am actually gonna make money live with these blogs. Then I will share with how it is done so you can see how it works. But while I’m doing it, you can start finding your own businesses to work within your area but even before you find a business, you can set up a blog first. Because even if you never get a business to actually sign up with you and pay you the monthly fee, the worse thing that could happen with these blogs is that you put adsense in them where you make $5, $10 or $20 a month passively with these blogs. That is without ever doing anything with it again.

So, you could set-up a hundred of these blogs and you’ll still make money with everyone. So, that’s what you have to remember even if you never get it. But the whole point is if you get a business to pay you. They’ll pay you more than Google Adsense will pay you.

You know, a business may pay you $500 a month or $200 a month or even up to $2000 a month. Or you could even get $5000 a month. Whereas Google Adsense, they pay per click. If somebody clicks on the ad that would be for business blogs, that would only be for $0.30 or $0.50. So it’s really not worth it in the long run. But if you can get a business to say yes, after a month or so, you can put an Adsense there temporarily so you can make sure that you’re always making money with it.

So once I have set the permalinks in my WordPress blog, I can add a post if I want to. In my blog, I have one in there but I haven’t added a content on it yet, I just wrote the title of the post.
